23/11/06: I have just created this website (grabbed my trusty old HTML book from the top of the cupboard - HTML for the World Wide Web, Elizabeth Castro, which is a really quick, and fast appraoch to create a website really, but I will improve it as time goes on (just editing this website locally, and checking it all works. I am just refreshing my mind on HTML and generating a marquee going from left to right showing what I am up to

17/4/07: Well quite busy at work today....gone to several meetings generally picking up new things about my large project in developing own own telephony services using BT Openreach's platform! I have definetely learnt a few new things in developing ASP.NET in particular for wizards and using AJAX to improve the user experience in particular delving into autocomplete text boxes and update panels linking with SQL databases!!! I have formulated some good ideas in how to develop the web apps but its all in my head!

26/4/07: Well I went to an MSDN Developers Event at the Microsoft HQ in the UK, I was a bit skeptical at first but it was as I expected Microsoft giving a low down on their latest technological products and marvels, so all was fun!!! I was taught on the new things in C# and VB 9.0 like ananoymous type, type inference, and lambda expressions with the new LINQ technology with a real emphasis on simplifying the platform whislt retaining its functionality of .NET 3.0. I was actually surprised that Microsoft have gone this route, but I weren't surpirised with their talks about Microsoft LIVE and bots etc... all in all a good expereince. Check www.roadshowresources.com and www.nextgenug.co.uk. Well from what I had seen ,the who wants to be a swaggillionaire is cool!! Unfortuantely I didnt get to be in it to win the prizes but I may attend the Next Generation User Group events which they have hosted in Abingdon, Oxford!!!

18/5/07: In the early hours of today, I have added a guestbook generated from a script tool in cpanel!! YYAAWWNN

15/8/08: My birthday!! Can't wait for the pub crawl later on today in Oxford, will be good!! I found an interesting article concerning the word "Hello", I thought that some inventor must of randomly thought of that word, and it was, it was Thomas Edison. Check this out hello 1883, alt. of hallo (1840), itself an alt. of holla, hollo, a shout to attract attention, first recorded 1588. Perhaps from holla! "stop, cease." Popularity as a greeting coincides with use of the telephone, where it won out over Alexander Graham Bell's suggestion, ahoy. Central telephone exchange operators were known as hello-girls (1889). "Hello, formerly an Americanism, is now nearly as common as hullo in Britain (Say who you are; do not just say 'hello' is the warning given in our telephone directories) and the Englishman cannot be expected to give up the right to say hello if he likes it better than his native hullo. My future plan: To develop this website

My future plan (not sure now): TO HELP RESURRECT THE SUN INTERNS WEBSITE AS AN ALUMNI!!!

My other future long term plan: TO HELP BRING FAIR TRADE AND TO HELP TEACH EDUCATION TO THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES (haven't done anything yet!)

My short term future plan: TO GIVE MY INSPIRATIONS ON HOW TO GENERATE WEALTH!!

My other short term future plan: Based on the above to establish a really simple local advertising enterprise business with my friend! And to build a website based on this!

My last short term future plan (not looked at!): TO GENERATE A TO DO LIST AND A KIND OF FREESTYLE MIND MAP FOR PEOPLE TO WRITE WHAT THEY THINK THAN TO WRITE ON A KEYBOARD!
